- Get Advice. Talk to your school counselor about starting your college search.
- Read Your Mail/Check Your Email.
- Go to College Fairs.
- Take the ACT/SAT. (Take for the first time fall of junior year and an additional one or two times thereafter. Complete testing by fall of senior year. While many colleges have become test optional for admissions in recent years, many schools are using an ACT/SAT score for admissions to rigorous program majors and scholarship consideration.)
